Following Michel Foucault's ideas, Dr. Mirian will address the powerful influence that institutions such as psychiatry, prison, and school have on individuals' thinking and behavior. Power is used as a means of discipline and conformity within these institutions.
Dr. Nady Mirian is a psychotherapist, lecturer, and author, who is currently writing a non-fiction book that will be published by Penguin Randomhouse.
